Carré Manchot has been on stage for more than 30 years, and in the 90's was among the bands thanks to whom young people came back dancing on traditional Breton music. Carré Manchot swiped the dust off old musical pieces as well as integrated newly composed dances always respecting the rules of the tradition.
Indeed, the first aim of the group has always been to make people dance and more to make them go back home with a smile on their face!!
The band has toured around the world ( Europe,Cambodia, Turkmenistan, the West Indies...). Many gigs, many encounters and musical experiences...one of the most memorable being a project with West-Indian drummers which had been extremely well welcomed on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean.
